Playing as a finisher, he amassed 221 runs at an average of 73.66 and a strike rate of 187.28, emerging as Vidarbha’s second-highest run-scorer in their quarter-final run. Continuing his form in SMAT 2024-25, Dubey smashed 134 runs at an average of 67 and a strike rate of 181.08, including a quickfire 30 off 14 against Odisha. After being part of Rajasthan Royals' set-up in TATA IPL 2024, courtesy of a stunning INR 5.8 Crore bid, he was brought back for IPL 2025. While he did not get many games last season, he still made an impact at a strike-rate of over 160 in the nine matches that he played.
